Life is Good!!

I have been so horrible at writing but I am going to TRY harder to be a lot better. Our days seem to be a whirlwind especially since summer hit we have been running non stop and I don't see it changing! My girls are growing like weeds in the garden (the only thing that seems to prosper there!) They are so fun Whitley is a little miniature teenager that girl NEVER misses a thing. I just got a new iphone and she knows how to use it better than I do. She recently found the scissors i had hid in the couch cushion while I worked on an embroidery and gave herself a brand new haircut. It could have been a lot worse she didn't cut bangs or anything but I was still ticked I hope I scared her enough to never do it again and for my part the scissors will defiantly go up!!!
Oakley is quite the girl she is WILD her favorite things to do are take her diaper off (which usually ends with her peeing on the floor!), play in the bathroom, and she loves socks. If she sees anyones sock lying around she has to put them on. My favorite thing is anytime I lay down she comes and cuddles up to me and if I'm on the couch she climbs up grabs my arm and puts it around her it melts my heart every time!
I am so blessed to be a mom I'm pretty sure it is the hardest and best job in the world.

Happy Birthday BIrdy!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY gorgeous girl!I I can't believe that you are 18 today it makes me want to cry. I can't believe my baby sister is 18, Toby pointed out to me that you will graduate this year and I almost started to cry. I was thinking today about how excited we all were when you were born, I was so jealous that mom would let you Jeannie hold you by herself and not me. Mom let me take you to show n' tell in second grade and I was one PROUD big sister and I still am. I'm so proud of the person you've become Birdie you have become not just my sister but one of my best friends. You might be younger than me Birdie but I look up to you so much. Thanks for always helping and running to get things for us, thanks for always knowing where everything is, thank you for always making us laugh, but most of all thanks for being my little sister and friend!!! Birdie aren't a ray of sunshine you are our BURST of SUNSHINE. Happy 18th Birdie, I LOVE you!!!

My first post

For awhile now I've been debating about starting a blog I finally came to the conclusion that I have nothing to loose so here I go. I guess I'll start by introducing myself my name is Lori Ann I am the wife to an amazing man, Toby and mother to two beautiful little girls, Whitley and Oakley. I spend most of my days chasing our little ones and keeping house and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love being a mom, decorating, and treasure hunting!
